Masala pattice pav is easy and tasty snack to prepare when you want to cook something quick ..This is another version of pav bhaji as we use the same onion,tomato,capsicum veggies..This can also be your handy party snack served with sev,coriander ,lemon as toppings...

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Boiled potato 5
  2. salt 1 tsp
  3. turmeric 1 tsp
  4. Green chilli paste 1 tsp
  5. Bread crumbs 2 tsp
  6. For red tomato chilli sauce
  7. 15red chillies soaked 15
  8. tomatoes 5
  9. garlic pods 6-8
  10. salt to taste
  11. For masala pav
  12. Pav 10 piece
  13. butter 2 tsp
  14. Finely chopped onion 1 cup
  15. Finely chopped tomato 1 cup
  16. Finely chopped capsicum 1 cup
  17. tomato sauce 2 tsp
  18. Pav bhaji masala 2 tsp
  19. Finely chopped coriander 1 cup
  20. Grated cheese 1 cup
  21. Sev 1 cup

Instructions

  1. TAKE 4 BOILED MASHED POTATOES,1 TSP TURMERIC,SALT, 1 TSP GREEN CHILLI PASTE,2 TSP BREAD CRUMBS
  2. MIX ALL THE CONTENTS WELL TO FORM A DOUGH
  3. NOW MAKE SMALL EQUAL SHAPED FLAT BALLS OUT OF THE DOUGH AND KEEP IT ASIDE
  4. NOW LETS MAKE RED TOMATO GARLIC CHILLI CHUTNEY..SOAK 15 RED CHILLIES FOR 2 HRS IN WATER..
  5. NOW GRIND 5 TOMATOES CHOPPED,SOAKED RED CHILLIES,6 -8 GARLIC PODS,SALT TO FINE PASTE
  6. OUR RED CHUTNEY IS READY.YOU CAN USE THIS CHUTNEY IN DOSA,UTTAPPA,STUFF PARATAS,VADA PAV ETC..
  7. HEAT THE DOSA TAVA...ADD 2 TSP OIL/BUTTER AND PUT ALL THE POTATO BALLS ON THE TAVA ...ROAST IT
  8. FLIP ON THE OTHER SIDE AND ROAST IT BY ADDING LITTLE OIL
  9. ONCE DONE.. ARRANGE ALL THE PATTICE ON THE CORNER OF TAVA
  10. ADD 1 TBSP OF BUTTER ON THE CENTER OF TAVA...1/2 CUP EACH FINELY CHOPPED ONION,CAPSICUM, TOMATO
  11. NOW ADD 1 TBSP RED TOMATO CHUTNEY,1 TSP TOMATO SAUCE,1 TSP TURMERIC POWDER,SALT
  12. SQUEEZE 1 TSP LEMON JUICE AND NOW MIX AND MASH ALL WITH PAV BHAJI MASHER
  13. ADD 1 TSP PAV BHAJI MASALA AND MIX WELL..
  14. ONCE YOU SEE,OIL LEAVES THE SIDES.CUT THE PAV IN BETWEEN AND FLIP IT ON THE MASALA MIXTURE
  15. NOW PUT THE PATTICE ON THE PAV,SPRINKLE FEW FINELY CHOPPED ONION,PLACE TOMATO SLICE
  16. PUT SEV, FINELY CHOPPED CORIANDER,GRATE CHEESE ON IT..
  17. CLOSE THE OTHER HALF OF PAV ON THE TOP AND SERVE HOT....
