Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Oats 1 cup
  2. Semolina 1 cup
  3. 1 tsp chana dal
  4. 8 Curry leaves
  5. 2+1 tsp Urad dal
  6. 2 green chillies
  7. Sundrop Peanut butter 4 tbsp
  8. Curd 1 cup
  9. 2 tbsp green peas
  10. Water as required
  11. 2 tbsp sweet corn
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 2 tbsp green corriender leaves
  14. Coconut chutney
  15. Oil 2 tbsp
  16. 2 tbsp grated carrot
  17. Eno powder

Instructions

  1. DRY ROAST 1 CUP OATS IN A NONSTICK PAN FOR 2-3 MINS, ALLOW IT TO COOL, ADD TO A MIXER JAR, GRIND
  2. MAKE A FINE POWDER LIKE THIS, SET ASIDE
  3. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL, ADD 1 TSP EACH OF URAD DAL, CHANA DAL & MUSTARD SEEDS
  4. ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS, 2 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES, 8 CURRY LEAVES
  5. ADD 1 CUP SEMOLINA, SAUTE UNTIL IT TURNS GOLDEN BROWN & FRAGRANT, TAKE OFF HEAT
  6. TRANSFER THE ROASTED SEMOLINA TO A MIXING BOWL, ADD THE READY OATS POWDER, 1 CUP CURD
  7. ADD 2 TBSP EACH OF GRATED CARROTS, PEAS, SWEET CORN & CORIANDER LEAVES
  8. ADD SALT TO TASTE, WATER AS REQUIRED, MIX
  9. MAKE A THICK, SMOOTH BATTER LIKE THIS
  10. ADD 4 TBSP SUNDROP CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER, MIX WELL
  11. ADD 1 TSP ENO POWDER, MIX
  12. ADD THE BATTER INTO GREASED IDLI MOULDS
  13. STEAM FOR 15 MINS
  14. ONCE DONE, ALLOW THE IDLIS TO COOL A LITTLE, UNMOULD CAREFULLY
  15. SERVE HOT WITH COCONUT CHUTNEY TRY IT, IT'S YUM
