Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For kidney beans masala - oil one table spoon
  2. Two onions finely chopped
  3. Half tea spoon garlic finely chopped
  4. Two tomatoes pyurie
  5. One table spoon tomato sauce
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Red chilli powder one tea spoon
  8. Cummin seed powder one tea spoon
  9. Kidney beans ( rajma ) two cups
  10. For uncooked salsa - tomatoes two finely chopped
  11. One green chili finely chopped
  12. One table spoon green onion finely chopped
  13. Coriander finely chopped
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Sugar haf tea spoon
  16. One half tea spoon chili flacks
  17. One tea spoon oregano
  18. For tacos - one cup all purpose flour ( maida )
  19. One cup whole wheat flour ( aata )
  20. Salt to taste
  21. Water as required
  22. Red cabbage , tomato sauce, coriander for garnishing

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL, ADD 2 CHOPPED ONIONS, 1/2 TSP CHOPPED GARLIC, SAUTE UNTIL TRANSLUCENT
  2. ADD THE PUREE OF 2 TOMATOES
  3. ADD 1 TBSP TOMATO SAUCE
  4. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 1 TSP EACH OF RED CHILLI & CUMIN SEED POWDERS
  5. ADD 2 CUPS BOILED KIDNEY BEANS / RAJMA, MASH LIGHTLY, COOK FOR 1 MINUTE, SET ASIDE
  6. TAKE 2 CHOPPED TOMATOES, ADD 1 TSP FINELY CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES, 1/4 CUP CHOPPED SPRING ONIONS
  7. ADD A HANDFUL OF CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, SALT, 1/2 TSP EACH OF SUGAR & RED CHILLI FLAKES
  8. ADD 1 TSP OREGANO SEASONING, MIX WELL, SET ASIDE THE READY SALSA
  9. TAKE 1 CUP EACH OF ALL PURPOSE & WHOLE WHEAT FLOURS
  10. ADD SALT, SUFFICIENT WATER & KNEAD INTO A DOUGH
  11. GREASE THE READY DOUGH WITH1 TSP GHEE
  12. TAKE SMALL BALLS OF DOUGH, ROLL OUT ROTIS
  13. GRILL THE ROTIS FROM BOTH SIDES ON A HOT TAVA, TAKE OFF HEAT
  14. TO SERVE : MICROWAVE THE ROTIS ON A WIRE RACK FOR 2 MINS LIKE THIS
  15. TAKE THE ROTI TACOS, ADD 2 TBSP OF THE READY KIDNEY BEANS MIX
  16. ADD 1 TSP OF THE READY SALSA
  17. ADD 1 TSP TOMATO SAUCE, SERVE IMMEDIATELY
