Dahi kababs also known as Dahi ke kabab are quite a common kind of vegetarian kebabs eaten in Northern India.These are made of hung curd ,paneer,flour and spice powder.These are quite rich in taste and texture so these are great to make on ocassions.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Hung curd 1cup
  2. Mashed paneer 1/2 cup
  3. besan 2 tablespoon
  4. Corn flour 2 tablespoon
  5. chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Jeera/Cumin powder 1teaspoon
  7. Dhania/coriander powder 1teaspoon
  8. Chopped onions 2 tablespoon
  9. Grated ginger 1tablespoon
  10. Kasuri methi 2 tablespoon
  11. pepper powder a pinch
  12. salt to taste
  13. oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Hung curd 1cup Mashed paneer 1/2 cup Besan 2tbsp Corn flour 2tbsp Chilli powder 1/2 tsp Cumin powder 1tsp Coriander powder 1tsp Chopped onion 2tbsp Grated ginger 1tbsp Kasuri methi 2tbsp Pepper powder a pinch Salt to taste Oil for pan frying
  2. In a bowl add chopped onion,kasuri methi,pepper and salt.
  3. Mix everything and keep aside.
  4. Add hung curd, paneer and besan in a bowl .
  5. Add corn flour and all the dry spices.
  6. Mix everything well.
  7. Add onion mixture to curd mixture and mix well.
  8. Grease the tray with little oil.
  9. Grease the hands with little oil. Make a small ball and flatten it .
  10. Same way prepare all the kababs
  11. Heat the non -stick pan and drizzle a teaspoon of oil.
  12. Pan fry the kababs on both sides to a light brown.
  13. Flip other side for even cooking.
