Dahi ke kabab are quite a common kind of vegetarian kebabs eaten in Northern India.These are made of hung curd ,paneer and spice powder.These are quite rich in taste and texture so these are great to make on occassions.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup hung curd
  2. 1/2 cup paneer, grated
  3. 1 small onion, finely chopped
  4. 1 inch ginger, finely chopped
  5. 1-2 green chili, finely chopped
  6. 2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
  7. 1 tbsp dry fruits (cashews, almonds), chopped
  8. 1/4 tsp pepper, crushed
  9. 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  10. Pinch of cloves powder
  11. 1/4 Tsp cinnemon powder
  12. 3 tbsp corn flour, to dust kababs
  13. salt to taste
  14. 2-3 tbsp oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. IN A BOWL ADD 1 CUP HUNG CURD, 1/2 CUP GRATED PANEER
  2. 3/4 CUP BREAD CRUMBS, 1 ONION CHOPPED, 1 TBSP CASHEW AND ALMONDS CHOPPED
  3. 1 TBSP GINGER, 2 GREEN CHILLIES, 2 TBSP FRESH CORIANDER
  4. 1/4 TSP PEPPER POWDER, PINCH OF CLOVES POWDER, 1/4 TSP CINNEMON POWDER
  5. SALT TO TASTE AND MIX WELL
  6. GREASE BOTH THE HAND WITH OIL AND PREPARE A BALL SIZED PATTIES.
  7. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL IN A PAN
  8. COAT THE PATTIES WITH CORN FLOUR
  9. NOW SHALLOW FRY THE PATTIES IN HOT OIL.
  10. ADD SOME HOT OIL ON TOP OF KABABS
  11. FLIP THE KABABS
  12. WHEN IT TURNS GOLDEN FROM BOTH SIDES, TAKE OUT ON KITCHEN PAPER
