  1. 5 hours soaked and cooked brown chickpeas
  2. Grated coconut handful
  3. salt to taste
  4. turmeric powder a pinch
  5. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  6. tomatoes chopped 1 cup
  7. onion chopped 1 cup
  8. Curry leaves few
  9. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  10. Urad dal 1 tsp
  11. Red chilli 1
  12. Cooking oil 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. HEAT OIL
  2. ADD MUSTARD SEEDS, URAD DAL, RED CHILLI, LET IT CRACKLE
  3. ADD CURRY LEAVES AND CHOPPED ONION, FRY TILL TENDER
  4. TOMATOES
  5. ADD TURMERIC POWDER AND RED CHILLI POWDER
  6. ADD SALT AND FRY UNTIL TENDER
  7. STRAIN COOKED BROWN CHICKPEAS
  8. ADD IT
  9. MIX WELL
  10. ADD GRATED COCONUT, TURN OFF THE FLAME AND SERVE
