These garlic bread sticks are made up of homemade pizza dough. Soft, chewy inside, crisp outside these flavorful bread sticks have garlic butter topped with grated cheese inside.

butter 4 tbsp
chilli flakes 1 tesp
Mixed Italian herbs 1 tesp
salt 2 tesp
Dry yeast 1 tesp
sugar 1 tbsp
Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
All purpose flour 1 cup
Grated cheese 2-3 tbsp
Instructions
TAKE 1 TESP EACH OF CHILLI FLAKES, MIXED ITALIAN HERBS AND SALT. CRUSH THEM TOGETHER USING A MORTAR.
MIX TOGETHER 4 TBSP BUTTER, CRUSHED SEASONING AND 1 TBSP CRUSHED GARLIC.
MIX 1 TESP DRY YEAST AND 1 TBSP SUGAR IN 2 TBSP WARM WATER. SET ASIDE TO BLOOM.
IN A MIXING BOWL TAKE 1 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR AND 1 TESP SALT.
ADD BLOOMED YEAST AND KNEAD INTO A SOFT DOUGH USING WATER AS NEEDED.
APPLY OIL TO THE DOUGH AND COVER THE BOWL WITH A PLASTIC.
LEAVE THE IN HOT PLACE TO PROOF FOR ABOUT 1+1/2 HOUR.
TAKE OUT THE PROVED DOUGH ONTO A FLOUR DUSTED SURFACE AND KNEAD IN 1 TBSP GARLIC BUTTER FOR A MINUTE
KNEAD FOR A MINUTE.
ROLL THE DOUGH INTO A RECTANGLE 1/4" THICK.
APPLY GARLIC BUTTER ALL OVER GENEROUSLY.
SPRINKLE SOME GRATED CHEESE ALL OVER AND FOLD THE DOUGH INTO HALF ALONG WIDTH.
CUT OUT 1" THICK STICKS.
TAKE A STICK, STRETCH A LITTLE AND TWIST. PREPARE ALL TWISTERS.
PLACE ALL TWISTERS ONTO A GREASED BAKING TRAY AND BRUSH GARLIC BUTTER ON TOP.
SPRINKLE OVER GRATED CHEESE AND LEAVE COVERED FOR SECOND PROVING.
BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 220 DEGREES FOR 10 MINUTES.
BRUSH BUTTER OR OLIVE OIL ON TOP.
SERVE WITH CHEESE DIP.
