ABOUT Chicken Rose Momos RECIPE

This recipe is very mouth watering and perfect for tea time snacks. The aroma of garlic and taste of tomato sauce with green chillies makes the flavour tangy. I made this in aftar also.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Boneless chicken 100 gm
  2. garlic pods 7-8
  3. Chopped onion 1 small
  4. Green chillies 5
  5. Garam masala Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  6. tomato sauce 1 teaspoon
  7. salt to taste
  8. oil 1 tablespoon
  9. For the dough:-
  10. Refine flour 200 gm
  11. oil 1 teaspoon
  12. water 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD 7-8 CHOPPED GARLIC CLOVES, SAUTE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  2. ADD 1 FINELY CHOPPED ONION, 5 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES, SAUTE UNTIL THE ONION TURNS TRANSLUCENT
  3. ADD 100 GMS CHICKEN MINCE, SALT, 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA POWDER, MIX & TAKE OFF HEAT
  4. KNEED A SOFT DOUGH WITH FLOUR, ROLL OUT A LARGE ROTI, CUT OUT 3 CIRCLES
  5. OVERLAP THE POORIS, ADD SOME READY CHICKEN MIX, FOLD & ROLL IT LIKE A ROSE LIKE THIS
  6. GET ALL THE ROSE SHAPED MOMOS READY
  7. TAKE A LARGE WOK, ADD 1 CUP WATER, PLACE AN AN OIL GREASED STRAINER, PUT THE MOMOS ON TOP
  8. COVER & STEAM THE MOMOS FOR 7-8 MINS
  9. SERVE HOT
