One of the most loved dishes of the Far-East Indian cuisine.

Chicken Dimsums

Ingredients to make Chicken Dimsums

  • For the dough:
  • all purpose flour- 1 cup
  • Hot water for kneading
  • salt to taste
  • For stuffing:
  • Minced chicken- 1 cup
  • Diced onions- 1/2 cup
  • Chopped fresh red less spicy chillies
  • Chopper ginger & garlic- 1 tbsp
  • Chopped green chillies- 1 tsp
  • Freshly ground pepper- 1 tsp
  • Mixed spices- 1 tsp
  • butter- 1 tbsp
  • Soya sauce- 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander
  • salt to taste

How to make Chicken Dimsums

  1. Make a medium soft dough and keep aside for 15 min.
  2. Mix stuffing ingredients
  3. Make 12 equal pieces of dough and roll into puris.
  4. Fold half side of the puri into pleats, insert stuffing in it and stick on the other side of the puri to shape like a dimsum.
  5. Steam dimsums for 15 to 20 mins.
  6. Serve hot with schezwan sauce.

My Tip:

Vegetables like grated carrot, cabbage can be added. Chicken mince can be replaced by shrimp mince, for seafood lovers.
