Ingredients to make Potato shrimp pancake

  • 2 medium size potatoes peeled and grated
  • 8 shrimps cleaned
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chilli Powder
  • I tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • oil for shallow frying

How to make Potato shrimp pancake

  1. Grate the potatoes in a bowl. Mix chopped onions and green chilli.
  2. Beat the eggs in another bowl add salt , turmeric, chilli and garam masala powder.
  3. Add the egg mixture to the grated potato. Pancake batter is ready.
  4. Chop the shrimp and add salt, turmeric, chilli powder.
  5. In a hot skillet pour a ladle full of batter . Let it partially cook.
  6. Then put the shrimp on top and cover with another small layer of batter. Put a lid and let it cook.
  7. Turn the pancake and cook till golden brown.
  8. Serve with tomato mayonnaise dip with fresh coriander.
