Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Soya chunks 1cup
  2. Chanadaal 1/2cup
  3. Onion 1 no chopped
  4. Green chilli 2no chopped
  5. Ginger chopped 2tsp
  6. Soda a pinch
  7. salt as per taste
  8. Sugar a pinch(optional)
  9. Curd 1cup
  10. Oil as needed for shallow frying
  11. For tadka-
  12. Curry leaves few
  13. Cumin seeds 1/2tsp
  14. Mustard seeds 1/2tsp
  15. Dry red chilli 2
  16. Oil 1tsp

Instructions

  1. Soak soya chunks and chana daal for 2hours.
  2. Strain. Grind with onion, green chilli, ginger,
  3. Add salt and soda. Mix well.
  4. Grease palm and make bada, flatten them a little and make a small hole in the center.
  5. Repeat for all. Shallow fry in a nonstick pan.
  6. Soak them in warm water. Squeeze and keep aside.
  7. Meanwhile mix curd, salt, sugar and any spices of your choice.
  8. Dip the badas in curd.
  9. Lastly give tadka with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, dry red chilli.
