ABOUT Maida suji pakoda RECIPE

These Pakoras are crispy and golden brown from outside and so creamy from inside.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida 1 cup
  2. Suji 3 tbsp
  3. Thick Curd 1/2 cup
  4. Onion 1/2 cup chopped
  5. Green chilly 2 chopped
  6. Baking soda 1 pinch
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Peanuts 1/4 cup optional
  9. Fresh coriander 1 tbsp
  10. Water as required

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl pour maida, suji, yogurt, chilly, salt, baking soda and some water.
  2. Mix it together to make a thick batter.
  3. While making batter mix little water at a time as we are looking for thick batter.
  4. Now add chopped onions and crushed peanuts and mix again.
  5. Heat up oil to medium-high heat. Drop small ball size dumplings in the oil.
  6. Be sure that oil is not very hot while frying the pakodas otherwise they will not cook from inside.
  7. Turn them occasionally till they become golden brown.
  8. Serve them with chutney or sauce of your choice.
