ABOUT Chicken Gadbad Ghotala RECIPE

Deliciously yummy boneless chicken cooked in it's own juices amd selected spices .. laslty, added beaten eggs to finish it (that's what I called gadbad ghotala) tastes yum with steamed rice, chapati ,phulka or naan

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bone less chicken 1/2 kilograms
  2. Beaten eggs 2-3
  3. Hung curd 1 tablespoon
  4. Fresh cream 1 tablespoon
  5. Ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoons
  6. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Red chilli powder 1-2 teaspoons
  8. Kitchen king Masala 1 teaspoon
  9. Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil 1 to 2 tablespoons
  12. Finely chopped onion 1 cup
  13. Fresh Tomato puree 1 cup
  14. Fried Cashew nuts 8-10
  15. Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
  16. Kasoori methi 1-2 teaspoons

Instructions

  1. Wash chicken, remove excess water and keep aside
  2. In a mixing bowl take hung curd, fresh cream, ginger garlic paste , turmeric powder, red chilli powder, kitchen king masala , salt to taste , kasoori methi and coriander powder
  3. Mix well and prepare merinade . Add chopped boneless chicken into this properly and keep it covered
  4. Keep it into fridge for approximately half an hour
  5. After half an hour , Heat oil and add finely chopped onion and saute' till golden brown
  6. Now add tomato puree and merinated chicken , mix well and cook covered for ten minutes .
  7. Check and turn in between ..it will start leaving it's juices and oil in corners
  8. Now add beaten eggs and stirr consistently till eggs get cooked
  9. Cook covered again for next 5 minutes and it's ready to serve
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves and fried Cashew nuts
  11. Serve hot immediately with chapati , phulka naan or steamed rice.
