Chicken mince kofta in mughlai gravy made authentically with Fried onions /Birishta and curds as the base .Seasoned with very pure home made garam masala ,Goes great with roti naan and baghare rice.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 150 grams chicken mince
  2. 1tblspn Cornflour
  3. 2 tblspn ginger garlic paste
  4. 4-5 tblspn curds
  5. 1 cup birishta onions (golden fried onions)
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1/2 teaspn pepper
  8. 11/2 tspn red chilli powder
  9. Pinch of haldi
  10. 1tspn fine ground home made garam masala
  11. 1tblspn cummin corriander powder
  12. 1/2 tspn roast cummin powder
  13. Oil to shallow fry
  14. 1tspn ghee
  15. Some chopped corriander


  1. Wash kheema and drain dry fully in mesh
  2. Add some salt ,Cummins powder ,red chilli powder and corn flour
  3. Mix well
  4. Make kofta balls and fry golden
  5. Keep ready all ingredients to cook further now
  6. Heat ghee in a pan add the golden fried onions on slow flame
  7. Add ginger garlic paste and saute 2 minutes
  8. Add masalas to heated curd add to the fried onion saute now and mix quick
  9. Add some watermixed in cud bowl ,let gravy cook 5 minutes
  10. Add the koftas now
  11. Cover cook to blend both well and korma to cook too,about 8to 10 minutes
  12. Remove in bowl dress with lemon and some chopped coriander leaves
