Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ghee 3 tablespoon
  2. Milk 1/2 litre
  3. Carrot 2 (finely grated)
  4. Cashew nuts 20 gms
  5. Sugar 50 gms
  6. Cardamom powder -a pinch
  7. Saffron a pinch


  1. Place a pan on the stove,add 2 tablespoon of ghee on the pan,add cashew nuts.....fry it well.....keep the cashew nuts aside....
  2. On the same pan, add 1 tablespoon ghee then add grated carrots....saute it well,till the raw smell goes out.....now add 1/2 glass of boiled milk to it.......leave it to cook for few minutes.....
  3. In the other side,add sugar & fried cashew nuts on the blender.....blend it nicely....
  4. After the carrot mixture cooks well,add carrot mixture to the blender which already contains sugar & cashew nuts......blend it well.....
  5. Now ,add this carrot mixture to the remaining boiled milk & add a pinch of cardamom powder to the kheer....mix it well...refridge it for half an hour......
  6. Tasty ' CARROT KHEER' is ready to serve .....Garnish with a pinch of saffron....
