This is a quintessential thirst quencher for all the 30 days of Ramadan

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gud/Jaggery 250 grms
  2. Water 500 ml(add more if the jaggery is too sweet)
  3. Lemons 2 can add 1/2 lemon more for more tanginess
  4. Sabja/BASIL seeds 2 tbsp
  5. Few mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Soak the jaggery in water.May take an hour or so depending on the Texture of jaggery
  2. Once the jaggery is melted,seive the juice
  3. Take the sabja seeds and soak them in water.
  4. The sabja seeds will all puff up.Strain the water and use the seeds
  5. Squeeze the lemon juice in the Jaggery water
  6. Take 1 more container and mix the juice from 1 container to another from a height.This is done to remove the heat of the combination we have used.This step is fone to give the coolness to the drink
  7. Serve in a glass and add the sabja seeds
  8. You can even add few hand torn mint leaves to the juice.Mint takes the juice to the next level of contentment.
  9. Serve slightly cold
