ABOUT Apricot Jam RECIPE

What is best to do with fruits? Jam and more Jam! This is a simple recipe which will require just 3 ingredients fro you to enjoy your morning toast with fresh apricot jam.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 500g Apricot chopped
  2. 2 cups Sugar
  3. Juice of half a Lemon

Instructions

  1. Clean your jars and keep them ready.
  2. Add apricot, lemon juice and sugar in a pot.
  3. Bring to a boil, stir until sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes thick, about 25- 30 mins.
  4. Remove from heat and skim if needed.
  5. Pour the jam into the jars, leaving 1/4 head space and cover with the lid.
  6. In stock pot, place a rack and fill it with the water, bring to boil.
  7. Process the jam in jars in the stockpot for 10 mins.
  8. Remove and let it cool before use.

Do we need fresh apricots or dry ones will also do?
