Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 kg Tinda
  2. 2 onion chopped
  3. 150 gms paneer
  4. 1 tblspn chopped corriander leaves
  5. 1 tspn fennel powder
  6. 1/2 dhania powder
  7. 1/2 tspn red chilli powder
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1 tspn amchur powder
  10. 1/2 tspn garam masala
  11. 1/2 tspn haldi powder
  12. 1/4 tspn hing
  13. 1 tspn jeera


  1. Peel and wash tinda.
  2. Now make a hole from the centre with the holar.
  3. Now chopp the inside stuff of tinda.
  4. Now chopp onion.
  5. Now take a kadai and put 1 tspn oil in it.
  6. When oil is heated add hing and jeera in it.
  7. Now add chopped onion and saute it.
  8. When onion changes its color add chopped stuff of tinda.
  9. Add haldi powder, red chilli powder, amchur powder, garam masala and salt to it.
  10. Mix it very well and let it cook by covering the kadai with the lid.
  11. In the meanwhile mash the paneer or crumble it.
  12. Mix it into the kadai stuffing and make sure the water of the stuffing is evaporated.
  13. Now when it cools down stuff this stuffing in all the tindas.
  14. Now put one by one stuffed paneer tinda in the pressure cooker.
  15. Give 1 whistle and then simmer the gas for 10 to 15 mins.
  16. After that open the lid of the cooker and dry out the excess water.
  17. The aroma of these tindas, you will love it.
  18. This dish is my kids favourite dish.
