ABOUT POHA RECIPE

This is a personal favourite of mine, especially for the breakfast. Yummy and easy poha, made with flattened rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 cups flattened Rice
  2. 2 Onions
  3. 2 Green chills
  4. 1/2 cup of Peanuts
  5. 6 Curry Leaves
  6. Juice of 1/2 Lime
  7. Olive oil as required
  8. 1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric Powder
  9. 1/2 teaspoon of Mustard Seeds
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop green chillies and onion. Roast the peanuts on medium heat. Keep aside. Heat olive oil in a wok, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, chopped green chillies, chopped onion, turmeric and salt.
  2. Soak the poha rice in water for 5 minutes. Add in the soaked poha rice and peanuts and squeeze a lime all over. Turn off the gas and serve hot.
