ABOUT Rice Rose Pudding RECIPE

In this pudding ingredients are few , rice, milk and egg . Kesar, cardamon flavoured. Soft and smooth roses. Kids are like to eat. Very much healthy dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Full fat milk - 500 ml
  2. Small grain rice - 1/4 cup
  3. Egg - 2 nos
  4. Kesar - 10-15 strings.
  5. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Sugar - 2-3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice in water for 1 hour. Put the rice in the mixer and make it into smooth paste.
  2. Boil the milk to reduce.
  3. Add rice paste in to the boiling milk and continuously stirring.
  4. Add sugar , kesar and cardamom powder.
  5. Milk becomes thick and keep aside for cool.
  6. Measure the cooked milk. ( 1 cup milk + 1 nos egg) and add egg, blend with beater . Strain the mixture.
  7. Pour milk mixture into silicon mould and baked in preheated oven for 30 minutes at 230degrees. ( Take a baking dish , set the moulds and pour hot water in the baking dish for 1/4 portion.. Then keep dish in the oven for bake) ( Big mould was mango pudding) First 20 minutes bake with cover by aluminium foil and rest of the time without cover.
  8. Wait for pudding to be cool and keep pudding in the refrigerate for 2 hours.
  9. Put few tutyfruity on the top and serve.
