Cabbage rabdi is my mom's innovative recipe. i added one more innovation to it, added mini gulabjamuns in it .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. cabbage 250 gram
  2. full cream milk 1 litre
  3. Pistachios 1/2 cup
  4. Sugar 2 tablespoons
  5. For gulabjamuns...
  6. 200 gram mawa
  7. 2 tablespoons refined flour
  8. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  9. Sugar for sugar syrup 1 cup
  10. Oil for frying
  11. Dry fruits for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Shred cabbage very finely
  2. Boil milk in a saucepan ,on a low flame and reduce it.
  3. When it starts getting thick ,add cabbage
  4. Let it cook for 15 minutes more on the low flame.
  5. Keep stirring
  6. Now add sugar and chopped pistachios
  7. Turn off the flame
  8. Meanwhile when rabdi is cooking do prepration for gulabjamuns
  9. Make sugar syrup of sugar adding 1 cup water of 1 string consistency
  10. Rub or knead mawa well to become smooth, in a plate
  11. Now add flour and baking powder
  12. Mix well and make small balls and deep fry till golden
  13. Dip in sugar syrup till softened
  14. Then add them in cabbage rabdi and garnish with dry fruits
  15. Serve hot or at room temperature
