Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 bowl semolina
  2. 1 bowl buttermilk
  3. 1 spoon ginger and green chilli paste
  4. salt as per taste
  5. 1 pouch eno
  6. For tempering - 2 spoon oil
  7. 1/2 spoon mustered seeds
  8. Curry leaves 7-8
  9. green chilli chopped
  10. chopped coriander leaves for garnishing


  1. In big bowl put semolina, buttermilk, salt and ginger -green chilli paste.
  2. Add some water if required to make a dhokla batter.
  3. Keep aside for 15 minutes
  4. Grease dhokla plate with oil.
  5. Now add eno and 1 spoon water on dhokla better and mix gently.
  6. Pour in a greased plate and sprinkle red chili powder steam it for 15 minutes.
  7. Let it get cooled.
  8. Take out from the steamer and cut into the square shapes.
  9. For tempering - heat tadka pan put oil, rai,curry leaves green chilli and 1/2 cup Water than pour this tempering on the dhokla .
  10. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with chutney.
