About Veg Chowmein in Indian style Recipe

In the name of chinese recipes most of us like chowmein. Specially kids love chowmein. It is also the most popular street food in India. In this Indian style Veg Chowmein, I combine the noodles to the lots of veggies which enhance the taste of noodles 2 times more. So try this easy delicious recipe today. Your kids will love this and enjoy the treat.

Veg Chowmein in Indian style

Ingredients to make Veg Chowmein in Indian style

  • 1 packet Noodles (100 grams)
  • 1 medium size onion sliced
  • 1 tsp ginger finely chopped
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 cup chopped lengthwise vegetables( brocoli, cauliflower, capsicum, beetroot, carrot)
  • 4 tbsp white oil
  • 3 tbsp soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder

How to make Veg Chowmein in Indian style

  1. Boil noodles on high heat in enough water with salt.
  2. Strain noodles in cold water 2-3 times and drain water.
  3. Oiling the noodles to avoid sticking and keep aside.
  4. Heat 3 tbsp white oil in a pan.
  5. Add onion and ginger stir fry for a few seconds.
  6. Add all other veggies, chopped green chillies and stir fry for about 5 minutes.
  7. Add salt and pepper powder and mix well.
  8. Add boiled noodles mix well.
  9. Add soya sauce, tomato sauce and black salt and stir fry for a minute in a high heat.
  10. Serve the vegetable chowmein hot.

My Tip:

If you prefer you can add 1/2 tsp of garlic paste.
