ABOUT Dahi kobi(Cauliflower in yoghurt) RECIPE

This dahi kobi, or dahi wali gobhi is a simple curry with fresh and tangy flvours of curd. It is quite easy to cook and taste delicious,it can be served with chapati, paratha, pooris and also pair well with jeera rice or steamed rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cauliflower florets 1cup cut in small size
  2. Curd 1 cup
  3. Slited green chilli 2
  4. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  5. Roasted cumin powder 1tsp
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  8. Curry leaves few
  9. Asafoetida a pinch
  10. Mustard oil 2tbsp


  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the cauliflower florets.
  2. Sprinkle salt to taste and fry till done.
  3. Switch off and keep aside.
  4. Meanwhile take a mixing bowl and add curd, salt, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder and mix well.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, slited green chilli and asafoetida.
  6. Then add fried cauliflower and toss well.
  7. Switch off and cool for few mins.
  8. Add to the curd mixture and mix well.
  9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
