Mango shrikhand or amrakjand is a Maharastrian dessert made from curd and rice mangoes.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Curd 250 gms
  2. Powdered sugar as required
  3. Mango puree 1 cup
  4. Cardamom powder
  5. Almond and pista for garnishing


  1. Hung the cute in a muslim cloth for 2 hours or till the water drains out from it.
  2. Peel the mangoes and puree it.
  3. Add the thick hung curd,the crushed cardamom powder,powder sugar into a bowl.
  4. Add the mango puree and mix it well so that there is no formation of lumps in the mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture in individual serving bowl and put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  6. After 2 hours garnish it with almond,pista and serve it chill.
