This is really a good version of paratha. I have always served paratha's with dahi / curd but never really tried stuffing dahi within the paratha. This is my first time and believe me the paratha's tastes awesome

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 cup wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cup whole purpose flour / maida
  3. 1 large onion grated
  4. 1 tsp coriander powder
  5. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  6. 1 tsp cumin powder
  7. 1 tsp green chilly chopped
  8. 1 cup hung curd
  9. salt to taste
  10. 1 tsp coriander leaves
  11. 1 tsp sesame seed
  12. oil


  1. Take wheatflour, maida, salt, red chilly powder, and some oil in a bowl and knead it to a soft dough. Rest it for 5 minutes.
  2. Take grated onion, hung curd, green chillies, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, coriander leaves , salt and make a mixture.
  3. Divide dough into small balls.Spread some sesame seed on rolling board and roll the dough on it.
  4. Roll a paratha and place the filling at centre and close it. Again roll it into a paratha dusting some flour on the rolling pin.
  5. Heat a pan and add some oil on it. Gently place the paratha in the pan and cook it from both the sides.
  6. Serve hot paratha with mint chutney or chilled dahi with a pinch of cumin powder. Garnish with mint, and sesame seeds.
