Mahrashtrian Stuffed Brinjals

Ingredients to make Mahrashtrian Stuffed Brinjals

  • Small brinjals 250 gm
  • Roasted peanuts 1 cup
  • garlic pods 1 Tbsp
  • Turmuric powder 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Maharastian garam masala or any garam masala 1 Tbsp
  • cumin seeds 1/2tsp
  • mustard seeds 1/2tsp
  • oil 1.5 Tbsp
  • curry leaves 7 leaves

How to make Mahrashtrian Stuffed Brinjals

  1. PREPARE ALL INGREDIENTS
  2. WASH BRINJALS AND CUT LITTLE PART OF ITS TAIL.SLIT BRINJALS INTO 4 WITHOUT CUT UPTO END.
  3. ADD SALT IN BOILING WATER AND ADD CUTTED BRINJALS
  4. ADD ALL DRY MASALAS,GARLIC ROASTED PEANUTS AND SALT MAKE FINE POWDER
  5. KEEP ASIDE
  6. AFTER 10 MINUTES CHECK BRINJAL IF IT IS COOKED OR NOT IF NOT THEN COOK AGAIN FOR 5 MINUTES
  7. REMOVE ALL BRINJALS FROM HOT WATER
  8. WHEN BRIJALS GETS COOL,STUFF GRINDED MASLA INTO COOKED BRINJAL CAREFULLY
  9. HEAT OIL IN KADHAIE ADD CUMIN SEEDS,MUSTARD SEEDS,CURRY LEAVES,STUFFED BRINJALS
  10. ADD REMAINING DRY MASALA POWDER ALSO IN KHADHAIE PUT LID AND COOK FOR 5 MINUTES.
