Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida - 1 1/2 cup
  2. Condensed milk - 1 cup
  3. Sugar powder - 1 cup
  4. Dates syrup homemade - 3 tbsp
  5. Baking soda - 3 /4 tsp
  6. Double acting baking powder - 3/4 tsp
  7. Chico chips - 1 tbsp
  8. Butterscotch chip - 1 tbsp
  9. Chocolate strands -1 tsp


  1. Take maida, baking powder & baking soda in a vessel, sieve through to another vessel. This is to give an even mix of all.
  2. Now take the above mixed all in a wide open vessel and whisk (  I hand whisked them). Add sugar powder, condensed milk, dates syrup and whisk slowly. Whisk in the same direction.
  3. If stared clockwise, go clockwise and complete.. If started anticlockwise and Go anticlockwise and complete whisking.
  4. Now whisk for 5 solid minutes. Put a cooker with sand  bed for 3/4 inch and leave on high flame for 10 minutes.
  5. Once batter is ready, take a aluminum baking vessel, apply butter on the walls and dust maida. Then pour prepared batter and tap the vessel to settle the batter even. Now sprinkle choco chips, butterscotch chips and chocolate strands..
  6. Put a stand on the sand bed, place batter in it and reduce flame to medium, cover the cooker with no whistle and no gasket.
  7. Leave for 30 minutes. Open and prick with clean dry knife to check if the cake is ready. If the knife comes out clean your cake is ready.
  8. Remove vessel with a holder, run knife through walls of the vessel to separate cake from vessel. Place a plate on top of the baking vessel, turn it upside down your cake will drop out, then turn it right side top, slice and serve.
