Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2 cups All purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cup +2 tbsp soft butter
  3. 3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
  4. 1 Egg yolk
  5. 1 tesp vanilla essence
  6. 2/3 cup ground cashew
  7. 2 tbsp custard powder
  8. 3/4 ,tesp baking powder
  9. 1 egg yolk to glaze the biscuits
  10. Toasted cashew broken to half to garnish the biscuits

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 180℃ for 10 minutes
  2. In a bowl add butter, sugar ,vanilla and egg yolk,beat till creamy
  3. Add the all purpose flour, bkpd,custard powder,and ground cashew
  4. Mix well to form a soft dough
  5. Place between parchment paper roll 3mm thick,using cookie cutter cut round shapes Place a cashew on each biscuit Glaze the biscuits with the beaten egg yolk.
  6. Place on lined baking tray
  7. Bake at 170℃ for 15 to 18 minutes.
  8. Remove cool completely on cooling rack
  9. Buttery nutty biscuits are ready to serve
