Orange Cake

Ingredients to make Orange Cake

  • 100 gms butter
  • 1 cup powder sugar
  • Half cup curd
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 orange for rind and juice
  • 1&1/4 cup maida
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • oil for greasing

How to make Orange Cake

  1. in a large bowl add 100 gm butter, sugar, curd and eggs. Beat them well with hand blender until it turns into a creamy texture.
  2. Take the orange & grind the rind into the mixture. Then cut into half and squeeze out the juice.
  3. Add the juice into the mixture and mix well.
  4. Into a sieve take maida and baking powder, mix and add into the mixture.
  5. Grease the pan and put the batter into the tin and bake at 180 degree for 35 minutes.

My Tip:

Preheat the oven while making the preparations. 1 cup is equal to 200ml here in measurements.
