Stuffed spices in onion and cooked in buttermilk

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Baby onion 8-9
  2. Buttermilk ½ cup
  3. Oil 2 +1 spoon
  4. salt as per taste
  5. Turmeric powder ¼ spoon
  6. Coriander powder 1½ spoon
  7. Red chilli powder ¼ spoon
  8. Garam masla ½ spoon
  9. Dry Mango powder ¼ spoon
  10. Kalonji ⅛ spoon
  11. Fennel seeds ⅛ spoon
  12. Coriander leaves chopped 1 spoon

Instructions

  1. Peel and make cut in onions so that it should not be seprated
  2. Mix all spices,fennel seeds and kalonji in a plate
  3. Add 1 spoon oil and mix
  4. Stuff thus stuffing in onions
  5. Keep remaining stuffing aside
  6. Heat oil in a wok
  7. Add onions and remaining stuffing
  8. Saute for 2 minutes and add buttermilk
  9. Cover and cook on low flame
  10. Stir occasionally
  11. Mix coriander leaves
  12. Switch off the flame when onions softened
  13. Serve with chapati or rice
