ABOUT Dahi papad ki sabzi RECIPE

A very easy sabzi when you are short of vegetables or when tired of cooking this comes to my rescue.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 moong papad.
  2. 2 cups curd.
  3. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder .
  4. 1/4tsp turmeric powder.
  5. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
  6. 1/4 carom seeds.
  7. 1 tsp oil.
  8. Pinch of asafoetida .
  9. Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing.


  1. Strain the curd, so as to get smooth curd
  2. Add salt and turmeric powder.
  3. Cut the papad into pieces
  4. In a kadai add oil, once heated add carom seeds , cumin seeds , asafoetida and red chilli powder
  5. Mix well and add 1/2 glass water.
  6. Now add papad pieces one by one to avoid sticking amongst themselves.
  7. Stir well.
  8. Add the curd and stir continuously on medium flame.
  9. Bring it to boil.
  10. Switch off the gas.
  11. Transfer it into a serving bowl.
  12. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
