ABOUT Mango Iced Tea RECIPE

A refreshing summer tea with the flavor of mangoes and tea. Mango ice tea is a perfect way to stay hydrated during these summer days and also during Ramadan. Make use of mango season at full and enjoy this easy tea anytime.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup mango
  2. 1 tsp tea leaves
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 2 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the mango. Puree them in a blender and refrigerate.
  2. Heat water on a stove top. Remove the pan of hot water.
  3. Add tea leaves and sugar and stir. Cover and let the tea steep in the hot water for 5 to 7 minutes. Strain and keep the tea in the fridge.
  4. Once the tea is cooled, remove from the fridge. Pour the tea into a blender.
  5. Add mango puree and lemon juice. Blend everything till smooth.
  6. Serve the mango iced tea with some ice cubes and a slice of lemon.
