Make a healthy burger with leftover chickpea

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Leftover chickpea/chole
  2. Wheat burger buns
  3. mayonnaise
  4. Tomato ketchup
  5. Chilli flakes
  6. Cheese slices
  7. Sliced onion
  8. Slice tomato
  9. Oil for shallow frying tikki
  10. Bread crums
  11. Flour

Instructions

  1. Grind the chickpea to a smooth paste
  2. If its very sticky, add bread crums/flour or both to make tikkis for burger
  3. Heat a pan and shallow fry the tikki till crispy
  4. Mix mayonnaise, tomato ketchup and chilli flakes and keep aside
  5. Now place the cheese slice, topped with tikki, onion, tomato and spread the mayonnaise mix and cover
