ABOUT Chicken Ghee Roast RECIPE

Chicken rosted in ghee .Can be taken as a starter or side dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken medium peices 8
  2. 2 onions finely chopped
  3. 2 ripe tomato chopped
  4. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  5. 1 1/2 tesp ginger garlic paste
  6. 4 tbsp ghee
  7. 1 tesp fennel seeds
  8. Roasted cashew to garnish
  9. 1/2 tesp turmeric powder
  10. 3 tesp chilli powder
  11. 2 tesp coriander powder
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Water 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Place a deep cooking pan with 3 tbsp ghee on medium flame.
  2. Add fennel seeds,once it splutters add onion and ginger garlic paste.
  3. Stir till light brown,stir in the tomatoes ,cook till soft.
  4. Add turmeric,salt,chilli powder and coriander powder,mix well.
  5. Stir in the chicken pieces and add water,mix well,cook covered for 10 minutes in low flame.
  6. Increase the flame add 1 tbsp ghee and roast the chicken.
  7. Remove garnish with coriander leaves and cashew.
  8. Serve as a starter or side dish.
