Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Mutton bone in 500gm
  2. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  3. Spices -Cumin a tsp, coriander seeds a tsp, fennel seeds a tsp, cinnamon 2 sticks, star anise 1, peppercorns 10,dry red chillies 3, all should be dry roasted and powdered.
  4. For the ghee roast, 1/4th cup ghee, curry leaves and yoghurt 2 tbsp.
  5. Curry leaves a few to garnish
  6. Salt to taste.


  1. Add ghee and curry leaves.
  2. Next add the pounded masalas and the yoghurt and cook well stirring it.
  3. Meanwhile pressure cook the mutton with ginger garlic paste and some water.
  4. Add the cooked mutton and roast it well until the ghee starts leaving the sides of the pan.
  5. Cook as per your wish as to how much crunchier you want.
