ABOUT Mango Mastani RECIPE

Mango masatani is a popular mango milkshake drink from pune named after the Queen Mastani, wife of Peshwa Ruler Baji Rao. The thick mango milkshake is prepared with thick milk with mango slices and then topped with dry fruits and ice cream.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 1 cup cup ripped mango roughly chopped
  2. 1/2 cup thick milk cold (I took low fat)
  3. 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  4. 1 scoop mango ice cream
  5. 2 tsp of sugar (optional)
  6. for assembling- 20 mango pieces roughly chopped
  7. 4 scoops vanilla ice creams
  8. 2 tsp almonds chopped
  9. 2 tsp cashews chopped
  10. 2 tsp pistachios chopped
  11. 2 tsp tutti frutti

Instructions

  1. Make mango milk shake first by blending mango slices with ½ cup thick cold milk adding 2 scoops of vanilla ice creams and 1 scoop of mango ice cream.
  2. You can add 2 tsp sugar but I didn’t as mango itself is very sweet.
  3. Blend smooth to form a thick milk shake.
  4. For assembling mango Mastani—In a tall glass or a dessert serving bowl (with stem) add a few pieces of mango, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and then pour prepared mango milk shake.
  5. Don't fill till the top as you have to put one more scoop of ice cream and garnish with nuts, tutti frutti and a few more pieces of mango.
  6. enjoy chilled
