Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 8 slices of bread.
  2. Mashed potato 1 cup.
  3. 1 small onion finely chopped.
  4. 1 green chilli minced.
  5. 1 tesp chopped coriander leaves.
  6. 1 tesp ginger garlic paste.
  7. Salt as per taste.
  8. 1/4 tesp turmeric powder.
  9. Oil or butter to toast the bread.
  10. 1 tesp oil .


  1. Place a pan with 1 tesp oil on low flame.
  2. Add onion and ginger garlic paste ,saute till onion is soft.
  3. Stir in the green chilli and coriander leaves.
  4. Add turmeric and salt and mashed potatoes mix till well combined
  5. Remove let cool a bit
  6. Take a slice of bread apply the potato mixture generously and place another slice on top
  7. Press gently,prepare the remaining slices.
  8. Place the pan on low flame drizzle butter or oil and place the sandwich on it.
  9. Toast on both sides with oil or butter,till crispy golden brown.
  10. Remove and serve hot with ketchup.
