Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 3 1/2 cup all purpose flour.
  2. 1 /2 cup boiled mashed sweet potato.
  3. 1 tesp sugar.
  4. 1 1/2 tesp yeast.
  5. 1 1/2 tesp salt.
  6. 4 tbsp butter.
  7. 1 egg.
  8. 3/4 cup milk.
  9. I tesp butter to apply on the baked bread.


  1. In a bowl add yeast,sugar and milk.Let set covered for 10 minutes.
  2. Add egg,all purpose flour,butter,salt and mashed sweet potato.
  3. Add milk and knead for 10 minutes to a soft dough.
  4. Make a ball of the dough ,apply oil all over and place in a oiled bowl,covered with cling wrap.
  5. Wait for it to double in size..
  6. Punch the dough and place it on a floured surface.
  7. Roll the dough rectangular .
  8. Shape it to a log,pinch the seam and tuck in the ends of the loaf.
  9. Place in a buttered loaf tin,with seam facing down.
  10. Preheat oven 180℃ for 10 minutes.
  11. Bake at 170 ℃ for 35 minutes.
  12. Remove apply butter,let cool for few minutes.
  13. Remove the loaf,let cool completely for 2 hours on a wire rack.
  14. Slice and enjoy...
