Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 potatoes, peeled
  2. 1/2 cup gram flour
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. Carom seeds 1/8 teaspoon
  5. Water as required
  6. Oil for frying


  1. Cut potatoes into thin round slices and keep it immersed in water
  2. Mix remaining ingredients except oil in a bowl to form smooth thick batter
  3. Heat oil in a wok.Dip each potato slice in the batter and drop in hot oil
  4. Deep fry over medium heat until golden brown
  5. Serve hot with chutney
