Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. full fat milk - 1 ltr
  2. Curd - 3 tbspn
  3. Powder Sugar - 120 gms
  4. Mango pulp - 100 gms
  5. Kesar - 4/5 strands
  6. Warm Milk - 1/2 tbspn
  7. Elaichi powder - 1/2 tspn
  8. Crushed dry fruits - 1 tbspn
  9. Mango pieces (optional) - 2 tbspns


  1. Boil milk and cool till it becomes luke warm.
  2. Add curd to it and mix properly. Close with lid and keep at warm place for @6/8 hrs.
  3. After the curd sets take it in muslin cloth. Tie the muslin cloth and put it in strainer and keep it on vessel so water from curd gets removed.
  4. After 2 hrs keep all assembled things in fridge for @6/8 hrs . If you keep curd out to remove water it will become sour.
  5. After 6/8 hrs remove the thick curd in vessel.
  6. At same time mix kesar in warm milk.
  7. Sieve powder sugar in curd and add mango pulp, kesar milk, elaichi powder, crushed dry fruits.
  8. Keep in fridge for 30/40 mins to set.
  9. *For smooth shrikhand sieve it with a strainer and then add dry fruits.
  10. *Can add small mango pieces in it.
  11. *Colour of shrikhand depends upon colour of mango pulp.
