This is healthy version of Haleem, that is perfect for your brunch!!

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Oats 1 cup
  2. Mung dal 1/2 cup
  3. Masoor dal 1/2 cup
  4. Red chilly powder 2 tsp
  5. Coriander powder 1 /2tsp
  6. Ginger Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  7. Chopped onion 1
  8. Salt 1 tsp
  9. Chopped coriander leaves 1 tsp
  10. Chopped mint leaves 1/2 tsp
  11. Ghee 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Soak mung dal and masoor dal for 2 hours separately .
  2. Then wash and drain it.
  3. In a pressure cooker add soaked dal, oats, salt, all spices and 1/2 cup water.
  4. Cook till 3 pressure, then check dal is cooked or not.
  5. When cooked ,mash with masher.
  6. Heat ghee in pan fry chopped onion till brown.
  7. Pour Haleem on serving bowl, pour fried onion with ghee, chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves.
  8. Serve immediately.
