ABOUT Crispy Mango Cookies RECIPE

A very beautiful looking and a tempting cookie which would surely take away everyone's heart. A twist of mango inside the cookies not only brings out this beautiful shade but also enhances it's taste and health factor too. You could enjoy them at any time of the day with a tea or coffee.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour, 75 grams
  2. Mango puree, 2-3tsp
  3. Baking soda, 1/4 tsp
  4. Sugar powder, 50 grams or to taste
  5. Ghee, 1 spoon
  6. Mango essence, 2 drops
  7. Cashews, 2tsp, crushed
  8. Yellow food color, pinch

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add ghee and whisk it very well until fluffy.
  2. Now add sugar powder to it and whisk well again.
  3. Then add mango puree, yellow food color, mango essence and crushed cashews to the ghee-sugar powder mixture and mix well.
  4. Now add all purpose flour to this mixture and baking soda and combine them well and prepare a dough.
  5. Take out small balls out of the prepared dough and shape them in form of a mango.
  6. Put a lavang on top of the prepared mango cookie to give it a original mango look.
  7. Place all the prepared cookies on top of the microwave safe tawa.
  8. Cook them on convection mode for around 12-15minutes.
  9. Take out and let them come to room temperature and then enjoy.
  10. You can even store them in airtight container
