Ingredients to make Aloo pappad

  • aloo 1 kg
  • salt/rocksalt 1 and 1/2 spoon
  • Phitkari small piece

How to make Aloo pappad

  1. Make thin slices of aloo and soak in water overnight. Add phitkari piece
  2. Next day remove phitkari and drain out the water.
  3. In a big vessel boil water and add the potatoes and cook for 10 min. Add salt or rocksalt while the water is boiling. close it for sometime.
  4. Spread out the potatoes under sunlight on a plastic sheet. Allow it to dry for 2 days. Deep fry and add red chilli powder and salt for additional taste.
  5. Have it with rice or during tea time.
