About Edible coconut Recipe

One of my whacky experiments, took my whole day but the results are amazing, could have been still better but not bad for 1st trial

Edible coconut

Ingredients to make Edible coconut

  • FOR THE SHELL
  • 200 grms chocolate
  • Balloons 2 to 4
  • For the filling
  • Fresh coconut malai frm 1 coconut
  • coconut milk 200 ml
  • sugar 2 tbsp
  • Gelatin 1 pckt

How to make Edible coconut

  1. FOR THE SHELL
  2. Melt the chocolate and put a blown balloon in it.Press gently so tht the balloon is covered in chocolate
  3. Place in the refrigerator Let the chocolate get hard
  4. Once hard, just prink the ballloon with a pin and we get our shell.Place it again in the fridge
  5. STUFFING
  6. Take the coconut milk,add the coconut malai and sugar.Grind a bit.
  7. Now Cook for sometime
  8. Add the gelatin and let it cool
  9. Only when it is completely cool, add the stuffing in the shells
  10. Remove the shells and once again brush the melted chocolate over your shells with a brush to give the shell effect
  11. Again refrigrate
  12. Now remove the shells and add the coconut milk into it
  13. Refrigrate for 5 mins and then take a small steel katori and insert it in the middle to create the hollow
  14. With the katori inside refrigrate the shell for 2 hrs
  15. Before serving ,remove the katori and serve immediately as the chocolate starts to melt

My Tip:

Freeze the serving tray for an hour or 2 so the shells wont melt fast
