A yummy dessert, loved by kids! Eggless Yeast Free Donut or Doughnut is a delicious, tempting dessert which treats to all sweet lovers who are vegetarians. Donuts are super soft, fluffy & juicy, glazed with sugar, crispy outside and chewy inside, scandalously delicious and easy fried doughnuts. It is perfect for any time homemade snack treat for your kids or family. Doughnuts are usually deep-fried from a flour dough, and typically either ring-shaped or without a hole, and often filled.Eggless Yeast Free Donuts can also be topped with cake frosting, dusted with icing sugar, deep one side in melted chocolate. Eggless Yeast Free Donuts are made without egg or yeast but still do not lose their fluff or softness. Donuts are mostly loved by children and is slowly and steadily gaining a huge place in the regular lifestyle of people. A coffee or an ice tea can be a great accompaniment to the Eggless Yeast Free Donut.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Maida / refine flour - 1 cup
  2. Baking powder - 1 tsp
  3. Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  4. Yougart - 3 tbsp
  5. Powder sugar - 1/2 cup
  6. Butter - 1 tbsp
  7. Warm milk - 3-4 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl ,add maida ,baking powder ,baking soda ,sugar butter, yogurt and combine all. Now add warm milk gradually and knead a smooth dough, cover it and keep aside for 1 hour.
  2. After 1 hour knead the dough again, roll the dough like a roti and cut round shape with cookie cutter or donut cutter or a sharp edge glass. Then make a small hole in the centre of it with the help of small cookie cutter or any small bottle lid. Again cover it and keep aside for 1 hour.
  3. Heat kadai with enough oil for deep frying. Add the donuts in the hot oil carefully, fry it until it turns light brown on low - medium flame.
  4. Take out from the kadai and place it on a paper towel.
  5. Sprinkle powdered sugar , chocolate sauce or any topping of your choice.
  6. Or glaze it with a sugar glaze.
  7. For sugar glaze: Heat a bowl, take 2 cups sugar, 1 cup water, 1/2 tsp vanilla essence. Stir until it turns into a thick sauce.
  8. Chocolate glaze: Take a bowl, sieve 1 cup powdered sugar and 2-3 tbsp cocoa powder. Now add milk gradually and stir until a thick paste is formed. Now add vanilla essence and mix it well.
  9. Dip your donuts into your desirable glaze and enjoy it.
