    Mango Tart

    Ingredients to make Mango Tart

    • For short crust pastry:
    • 100 gms Plain flour
    • 50 gms butter
    • 1 bsp ice water
    • Pinch of baking powder
    • 1 tbsp castor sugar
    • For filling :
    • 2 tbsp cream cheese
    • 1 tbsp Whipped cream
    • 1 tbsp mango puree
    • For garnish : 1 mango
    • Handful of pomegranate kernels

    How to make Mango Tart

    1. For the short crust pastry: Blend together flour and butter and sugar until it resembles bread crumbs.
    2. Remove into a big bowl and add baking powder, then ice water until dough holds together.
    3. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for half hour before rolling. Take out the dough and cut with cookie cutter.
    4. Place in tart moulds and bake in preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
    5. For the filling: Beat together cream cheese, whipped cream and mango puree. Fill it in the tarts and garnish with mango rose and pomegranate kernels and enjoy.

    My Tip:

    You can prepare shells in advance and fill the filling on day of serving.
