About Buffalo Chicken Wings Recipe

I love getting messy with these easy to make, hot and spicy deep fried chicken wings. Serve them with blue cheese dip and it can leave anyone wanting more.

Buffalo Chicken Wings

Ingredients to make Buffalo Chicken Wings

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 3/4 cup cornflour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp Hot sauce
  • 1 tsp Red pepper powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Celery sticks for garnishing

How to make Buffalo Chicken Wings

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degree C.
  2. Melt butter in a pan. Stir in hot sauce, red chilli powder, salt and black pepper. Mix until combined.
  3. Heat the oil in deep fryer to 375 degree C or in a kadhai till hot.
  4. In a bowl mix cornflour, salt and pepper. Dip the chicken wings in the mixture then deep fry for 10-15 mins until they are crisp and brown.
  5. Transfer fried wings to a serving plate, pour over the sauce.
  6. Garnish with celery sticks.
