Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Tomato ketchup ( optional ) - 1 tablespoon.
  2. Coriander leaves - 1 springs.
  3. Oil - 4 tablespoons.
  4. Crushed kasuri methi - 1 tea spoon.
  5. Green chillies - 2
  6. Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
  7. Fresh cream - 1/2 cup
  8. Cashewnuts - 8
  9. Red chilli powder - 1 tea spoon
  10. Sugar - 1/2 tea spoon
  11. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon
  12. Tomatoes (chopped) - 150 grams
  13. Butter - 100 grams
  14. Salt - to taste
  15. Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoons
  16. Onion(chopped) - 1
  17. Raw chicken slices - 500 grams
  18. Garam masala - 1 tea spoon

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into thin slices and apply 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste,salt, 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, a pinch of coriander powder mix it.
  2. Now shallow fry in the hot oil then transfer onto a plate and keep it aside.
  3. In this oil add cumin seeds,onions, ginger garlic paste mix it.
  4. Now add water, coriander powder, cashew nuts, red chilli powder, kasurimethi powder, green chillies, tomatoes mix it and cook covered with a lid.
  5. Now everything is mashed up, put it in a blender and blend it. In the same pan add butter, chicken use out water, tomato puree, salt, sugar and boil it.
  6. Now add tomato ketchup, cream, chicken, garam masala mix it and boil. Now butter chicken is ready to serve with rice or naan.
