ABOUT Multigrain butter cookies RECIPE

These cookies are healthy and there is no refined flour used in it. It's made without using oven. Anybody can try it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. one tablespoon Ragi flour
  2. one tablespoon Jowar flour
  3. one tablespoon Bajra flour
  4. One tablespoon Maize flour
  5. 2 tablespoon powdered sugar
  6. 1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  7. Pinch of baking powder
  8. 2 tablespoon unsalted butter chilled and cut into pieces
  9. 1/2 cup milk approx. Use as required to knead the dough

Instructions

  1. First take all the dry flour in a vessel. Mix well
  2. Add baking powder and vanilla essence and mix well
  3. Then add butter and mix the butter and the flour together properly so that it crumbles well
  4. After that knead the dough with little milk into a little soft dough
  5. Make small balls out of the dough.
  6. Properly round and pat little bit in a thick shape or you can shape it with any cookie cutter.
  7. Then with a fork you can give it a design on top of it and add a cashew nut or any nut of your choice and put on the cookie
  8. Preheat non-stick Tawa for 5 minutes
  9. Apply butter on it
  10. Then put cookies one by one on the tawa. Keep space between the cookies
  11. Cover the cookies. After 10 minutes turn the cookies and cover again.
  12. Check the cookies have become little hard with a fork
  13. if it's soft then keep it for some few more minutes and check again.
  14. Let the cookies cool down and then you serve it.
  15. Nice homemade cookies are ready which can be served with hot tea
